Apparently I only want have time to write a post when a big snow storm comes through and gives me 2 days of working at home. This writing schedule, unfortunately, doesn’t make for very interesting reading. I would like to blame it on my job, but in reality, I HAVE time to write after work. But, the last thing I want to do after being in front of a computer screen at work all day is sit in front of my computer at home. Although I have been working very hard, much more than 40 hours a week, I have still found some time to have a little bit of fun. Although these photos were from last month, the hubs and I still made time to go see Lady Gaga in concert at the Sprint Center.
It was a lot of fun with great music, great fans, and a great atmosphere. We even got to dress up. The hubs put on a suit and tie, and I wore a simple black, backless dress. We were probably the best dressed couple at the show if I do say so myself.
Lady Gaga isn’t my favorite artist, or type of music, but she sure puts on one hell of a show. Plus, I’m a huge fan or her one-of-a-kind, fashion, political, religious expression. She is so good to her fans, especially the LBGT fans. During the concert, she phoned a fan and invited him backstage. She also gave a little “safe sex” chat to some of the fans in the front row!
Other than Lady Gaga, the hubby and I recently learned how to indoor rock climb. Jade was way better than me and made it to the top of the wall on several occasions, but I still had fun, and the next day, was oh so sore! We also have gotten dressed up, had dinner on the Plaza, and attended a new yoga class together.

Although, I still don’t feel like I’m all settled in the city, and I’m super jealous of all the scuba diving photos from my friends in Playa and Cozumel, I’m getting there.
Poco y poco… Little by little… Kansas City will become our new home.
